ABTA's World Travel Market Programme Puts Member Insight and Europe Travel Changes on the Agenda
ABTA presented WTM as a concentrated member touchpoint
ABTA said its presence at World Travel Market was designed to help members make the most of time away from their businesses by giving them direct access to the association's team and to focused business sessions. The programme was framed as both a networking opportunity and a place to gather practical intelligence on current travel-sector issues.
Research, industry reflection and border changes all featured
The association said the agenda would include a session marking 75 years of ABTA, discussion of current industry pressures and the latest Holiday Habits research looking back at recent travel behaviour and ahead to the next year. It also highlighted a separate business session for members who wanted clearer guidance on how EES and ETIAS would affect the industry.

The broader message was about helping members use events productively
Rather than treating WTM as a purely ceremonial appearance, ABTA presented the programme as a practical extension of member support. By combining briefings, data and face-to-face access to the team, it aimed to make a major industry event more useful for businesses dealing with changing travel rules and commercial uncertainty.
